Bowie knives originated in the USA in the early 19th century and were regarded as reliable working knives that were also occasionally used in combat. Typical of these fixed knives is the massive, characteristically shaped blade, usually more than 15 cm long, and with a guard to protect the hand. As a variant suitable for everyday use, the Boker Plus Pocket Bowie by Chuck Gedraitis combines the charm of a Bowie knife with the flexibility and compactness of a pocket knife. Equipped with a satin-finished Bowie blade made of D2, the three-finger knife easily masters all everyday tasks. The knife is opened by the removable thumb stud, while the stainless-steel liner lock reliably locks the knife in place. The ergonomic handle with scales made of brown Burlap Micarta promises a secure grip and gives the knife a touch of the Wild West. The clip is beautifully integrated into the rear handle and allows for tip-up (r) carrying. Supplied with a high-quality nylon case.
