This limited edition Sprint Run version of the Dragonfly 2 Lightweight features Carpenter Technology's Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardened cold work steel designed to combine superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by CarTech's Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. This high-performance steel, which is functionally equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, is at the heart of this knife's fully flat ground PlainEdge blade. To make this elite Dragonfly 2 Lightweight knife even more distinctive, the blade is finished with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, and the fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle is spray-painted in a deep wine red. In keeping with this stunning black and burgundy theme, the reversible tip-up pocket clip, back lock, and handle hardware are also coated in black.
