Lightweight rain poncho designed to provide effective protection against harsh weather conditions. This waterproof poncho can be quickly transformed into an emergency shelter and is made from tear-resistant ripstop material.
The model is an improved and lighter version of the classic US Poncho Model. The standard American poncho has a tradition of nearly 60 years and remains a reliable design. In developing the Lightweight version, unnecessary elements were removed, keeping only the essential functional parts.
By replacing metal eyelets with strong webbing loops, the overall weight and folded volume were reduced, while maintaining the full size when unfolded.
The poncho features two side snaps that allow the creation of temporary sleeves, preventing the fabric from being blown by the wind when worn. The new-generation hood has a practical drawstring adjustment system, much more efficient than the original design.
When folded, the poncho can be stored in the included carrying pouch. All attachment points are reinforced with tear-resistant fabric, ensuring increased durability in use.
